It's about time I got around to the Marcy brooch. After all these years. She is all about accentuating the positive and bringing out the best. But still waters run deep and human beings are, in real life, incredibly complex entities. And she is no exception. Suffice it to say, there is much more than meets the eye. If you get to experience the fun and whimsey, good for you. If you get to see the rest, great for you.
The Marcy brooch measures 4 1/2 x 3" and is made of fully annealed glass of all types. You can fasten the pin with the sturdy handmade pin and the back of black polymer clay will protect your cotton blend blouse from snagging.

You meet some really interesting people as a gypsy art warrior. Susan is one of those...Susan has some high ideals. She is also down to earth and realistic. She has some rough waters ahead, but she causes me to feel hopeful. This full annealed glass brooch measures 4" x 3" and has a sturdy handmade pin back. It includes glass of many types as well as some carefully selected feathers... It's backing is polymer clay that protects your business suit from snagging.

After a lifetime of living, one collects memories, like precious nuggets of people, places and events. It takes a gifted orator to weave those experiences into tales of delight to be related around the kitchen table on a wintery day. Ann has that gift. Whether it's cows wandering around in the backyard or buffudled law enforcement officers, Ann can turn the mundane into high entertainment. This brooch reminds me of her, it's about the colors. But also because I made it while listening to her tales.
It measures 4 1/2 x 3" and is made of fully annealed glass of many different varieties. It's all woven, like a carefully crafted tale, into a sturdy armature of my own making. The pin back is handmade by me and will stay attached to your wool sweater without snagging because of the polymer clay backing.

How do you say birdie in Brooklyn? Boydie. The center bead of this brooch has an interesting photo of a bird, a Boydie. I have to give credit to the Boydie who continues to be my co-creator. His name is Hooter and he lives with his owner Kevin. Hooter has graciously shared his naturally shed feathers for my work. And yes, no bird was harmed in the making of my work! Fully annealed Moretti glass, a strong pin back and feathers! Measures 5" by 2"

Kathleen is a classic beauty. She belongs to the autumn fires. She knows her mind and speaks it in a way that makes you feel at ease. She has a way of making people relaxed and comfortable. 5 inches of beautiful fall colors in fully annealed Moretti glass, wire, parrot feathers and a strong pin back. Wonderful for your lapel, wall or desk.
